Parents of final year and Gold Track second year students of the Accra Girls Senior High School are demanding an immediate release of their wards from the school.
It follows an alleged outbreak of COVID-19 in the school, reportedly contracted by six students and one teacher.
School authorities have not yet made comments on the situation but there are reports of chaos at the school with worried parents insisting they are allowed to take their children back home.
Anxious and fear-gripped students on Monday clustered and massed up at the schools’ premises.
