Ace broadcaster of Accra-based Angel102.9 FM, Blessed Godsbrain Smart popularly known as Captain Smart has listed female running mates Ghana has had so far under the 4th Republic.

He shared the names with his listeners/viewers on Anopa Bɔfoɔ morning show on Wednesday, 7th July, 2020.

Below are the names:

  1. Professor Naa Sackeyfio – running mate for Rev. Dr. Kwabena Darko, National Interest Party (NIP) in 1992.
  2. Petra Amegashie – running mate for Daniel Augustus Lartey, Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP) in 2000.
  3. Patricia Ameku – running mate for Emmanuel Ansah Antwi, Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) in 2008.
  4. Cherita Sarpong – running mate for Dr. Abu Sakara Forster, Convention People’s Party (CPP) in 2012.
  5. Eva Naa Merley Lokko – running mate for Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, People Progressive Party (PPP) in 2012.
  6. Helen Sanorita Dzatugbe Matrevi – running mate for Hassan Ayariga, People National Covention (PNC) in 2012.
  7. Brigitte Dzogbenuku – running mate for Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, People Progressive Party (PPP) in 2016.
