Chief Justice goes into self isolation

The Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin Yeboah, in compliance with the COVID-19 protocols has gone into a fourteen (14) day self isolation.

A circular to the High Court judges indicates that Justice Anin Yeboah will keep working from his official residence located at Cantonments in Accra.

The circular was signed by the judicial secretary, Cynthia Pamela Addo.

Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo embarked on a similar exercise 4 days ago according to statement dated July 4, 2020 under the signature of the Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.

Per the minister’s statement, the president went into isolation after one person within his “close circle” tested positive for COVID-19.

The statement however declared that the president had tested negative for COVID-19 and would be working from the Presidential Villa within the Jubilee House.
