Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has been featured in the trailer for “Black is King” – a visual album by American pop star Beyoncé.
The pop star, Beyoncé, says “Black is King” is a visual album of her soundtrack “The Lion King: The Gift”.
Shatta wale’s appearance in the much-talked about film which is set to premiere on Friday, July 31, is due to their collaboration song, titled “Already” which is one of the songs on “The Lion King: The Gift” soundtrack.
The visual album will be streamed on Disney Plus TV which is currently running promotions for the film using Shatta Wale’s image.
The American singer collaborated with other top African artistes such as Wizkid, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, and Mr Eazi on the soundtrack.
It also featured American stars including; Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, Jessie Reyez, Pharrell, and her daughter Blue Ivy Carter on the visual
