The 2020 West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) will officially begin today.

According to the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the West African Examination Council (WAEC), Agnes Teye Cudjoe, the examinations will begin at exactly 8:30am on Monday at several examination centres across the country.

Prior to the commencement of the examinations, there were reports that some of the papers have leaked online. It included the Integrated Science paper.

Commenting on this on Angel FM’s Morning Show, Anopa Bofo on Monday, Madam Teye Cudjoe said WAEC has no hand in the leaked papers.

She further described the leaked questions as fake.

Madam Teye Cudjoe however said that WAEC will punish anyone who is caught leaking questions.

“There are lots of challenges with the administration of the exams but we have seen on social media over the weekend is not our exams…be rest assured that we will punish anyone caught in engaging in any fishy deals…,” he said.
