Host of Angel FM’s Morning Show, Anopa Bofo, Captain Smart has finally revealed the reason why Ken Agyapong decided to take on businessman, Alfred Agbesi Woyome over his GHC 51.2 million debt owed the state.
Speaking on Fabewoso segment of the show on Monday, Captain Smart said Ken Agyapong was provoked to let the cat out of the bag after the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament which was sitting on the Auditor General’s report repeatedly refused to comment on the case.
According to Captain Smart, the debt was reported severally in the A-G report yet the MPs deliberately refused to discuss that issue.
He said this happened year after year and that annoyed Ken Agyapong. Interestingly, a copy of the report which was placed in Ken Agyapong’s pidgin hole went missing mysteriously.
“Ken Agyapong had to go and look for one from the foyer from Parliament before he could have access to the report.
