Personnel of the Ghana Police Service have clashed with some angry residents of Awoshie in Accra.
The residents are protesting the faulty traffic lights which they say have led to several accidents at Baah Yard.
Some residents who spoke to Angel FM’s Akua Sarpomaa said they have had to demonstrate because over eight residents have so far lost their lives at that particular junction.
Constant efforts to draw attention of authorities to their plight have so far failed.
They therefore decided to block the main road and demonstrate to demand that they traffic lights be fixed.
Police personnel dispatched unto the scene have had to use hot water to disperse the crowd.
