A 12-year-old boy has butchered the father to death at Adansi Pipiiso in the Adansi North District of the Ashanti Region for accusing him of stealing GHC 70.00.
The suspect identified as Kwadwo Acquah was accused by the father of stealing the money which had been budgeted for other purposes.
The JHS 1 student who was not happy with the accusation by the father took offence leading to a quarrel between the two.
He was said to have butchered the dad with a cutlass in the process.
According to Fomena District Police Commander, Superintendent Albert Nii Ochil, the mother of the child whose slippers was destroyed when she also accused him of stealing absconded with the boy after the incident.
The Police Commander said the body has been deposited at the Peaceland Mortuary at Adiemera in the Adansi Asokwa District for autopsy.
