The Magistrate Court in Adansi Fomena has granted the 12-year-old boy who stabbed his 60-year-old father to death at Fomena Pipiiso in the Adanse Asokwa District of the Ashanti region GH¢5,000 bail.

The boy, Kwadwo Acquah, on Sunday August 9, 2020 allegedly inflicted machete wounds on his father leading to his death.

Prior to the incident, the deceased was said to have accused the boy of stealing GH¢70 which sparked misunderstanding between them.

The boy and his 50-year-old mother, Grace, were arrested on Monday when they handed themselves to the police.
