Hip pop sensation Medikal has asked his fan base and supporters to be on the look out for his latest single dubbed ‘Borla Bird’.

The ‘Omo Ada’ hitmaker in an interview on TV3 NewDay said that “they [fans] should watch out for new music pretty soon; they should watch out for more energy from this side”.

Throwing more light on the song and its title, he said he tries to bring something that resonates with the people so that the ‘boys and girls on the street’ can play with it.

“Always I dey try bring something new; something really common into the system so say people can fi play with am. Things that people talk about on a daily vibe. I want it to be on streets as a new term”, he explained.

He added that one thing that is delaying the release of the song is his dilemma about which cover art to choose.

According to him he has two cover arts from two different designers yet he is uncertain which one will best suit the new single.

He promised that the song will be interesting for people to dance and have fun with.

Medikal also noted that he shall ‘disappoint’ any artiste who wishes to get ‘popularity’ through him.

“The thing be say if you want Medikal do something wey go help your brand or something, you go see my management and we can sit down and talk about it. But for you to get free hype off insulting me in a track or Twitter and all, man no go mind you because at the end of the day, whatever you write or say doesn’t put food on my table”.

He warned that he charges ‘crazy’ amounts therefore, artistes who wish to resurrect their music career should come prepared.
