Host of Angel 102.9FM’s Morning Show, Blessed Godsbrain Smart, has been adjudged the best Morning Show presenter in the Greater Accra Region.
The ‘King of Morning Shows’ works was recognized at the Foklex Media Awards held in Accra on Saturday, 29th August, 2020.
Captain Smart since joining the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) brand has taken the presentation of morning show to another level.
Captain saw off competition from the likes of Kwaku Owusu Agyei (Patoo) Kasapa fm, Ekourba Gyasi (Atinka fm), Kwame Nkrumah Tikesie Okay fm, Bright Akwasi (Asempa fm), Boamah Darko (Hot fm) to win the Best Morning Show Host of the year award on the night.
Anopa Bofo, Angel FM’s Morning Show which is also telecast on Angel TV is now the most listened to and watched TV programme in the morning across the country.
The show has several segments including the almighty ‘Fabewoso’ where the presenter comes up with topical issues and addresses them to the satisfaction of listeners and viewers.
A campaign against medical negligence dubbed #PatientLivesMatter which was launched on the show on 29th June, 2020 has offered solutions to the medical problems of many Ghanaians.
Several others have also had support through the ‘Asem Yi Di Ka’ segment of the show aired on Thursdays.
#AngelFridayOldSkuul brings back fond memories every Friday. The costume for that show communicates how vibrant and dynamic Captain Smart is as a presenter.
