One person lost his life when a Police Patrol Vehicle collided with a Grand Bird Bus at Lougri in Walewale Municipality of the North East Region
The Police Patrol vehicle was carrying four police officers when it collided with the KIA Bus.
The deceased, Lance Corporal Ernest Oteng who was the driver of the vehicle died instantly after the collision.
The three occupants of the vehicle sustained varied degrees of injuries.
The injured officers, Sergeant Seidu Bouri, Lance Corporal Paul Ofori and Lance Corporal Elijah Mensah, have been transferred to the Tamale Teaching Hospital for further treatment while the driver of the Bus has been arrested and detained as investigations continue.
