President Nana Akufo-Addo on Monday visited family of the Member of Parliament for Mfantseman constituency, Ekow Kwansa Hayford, who was shot dead by armed men early Friday.
The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP was returning from a campaign trip in the constituency when his entourage was attacked at about 1am on the Abeadze Dominase – Abeadze Duadzi – Mankessim in the Central Region.
Nana Akufo-Addo expressed sincere condolences to the wife, children and family of the late Hayford.
“On Monday, 12th October 2020, I was in Mankessim, in the Central Region, to express my sincere condolences to the wife, children and family of the late Member of Parliament for Mfantseman constituency, Hon. Ekow Kwansa Hayford,” the President posted on Facebook.
