The Bank of Ghana has been awarded the 2020 central Bank of the year 2020.
The award was presented to them by the Central Banking Awards committee in recognition of the success chalked by the bank in monetary policy and reforms in Ghana.
Governor of Bank of Ghana, Dr. Ernest Addison after receiving the award said: ‘’it is a great privilege for the Bank of Ghana to be named the central Bank of the year, and  .thank the team at the central Banking for the honor.
According to him, the hard work of the Bank of Ghana management, the Board and staff led to them winning the award.
The central Banking Awards were held to honor the outstanding performance and achievements of individuals and organizations within the Central Banking Community.
‘’I am hopeful that we will continue on this path and consolidate the far reaching gains of macroeconomic and financial stability in Ghana’’, he said.
