The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, has said the New Patriotic Party’s first position on the ballot paper, is a sign of victory for the party in the Presidential election to be held on December 7.

According to him, their position on the ballot paper “makes the campaign message very easy because in terms of managing the economy we are number one. In terms of everything in this country, we are number one.”

The governing party picked the first slot on the ballot paper after balloting while the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) picked the second position.

Commenting on this, John Boadu said: “we would have loved four but God is the one who decides these matters and the place he has given us is fantastic,”

He further said ‘it is going to be added to the crafting of the message going forward that [the party] is number one. We have done so much for this country within three and a half years, we have resolved almost everything that wasn’t resolved by the NDC’s weak economy…,” he said.
