Artiste manager, Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson, popularly known as Bulldog, has alleged that the President, Nana Akufo-Addo deliberately collapsed Menzgold and other financial institutions that were flourishing under the erstwhile John Mahama administration.
The President, he said, did this with the aim of curtailing the growth of some Ghanaian businesses which he claimed were not aligned to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
And this aim, he said caused him to introduce various policies that would ensure that these companies including Menzgold and other financial institutions collapsed.
“I’m telling you this today, if Akuffo-Addo wins; it is one month from today if he wins the December elections then God no dey. This is somebody who has killed people based on his closure of all these banks, I have my money at Menzgold, same as many others. People have lost their lives based on the money they lost at Menzgold,” he said.
He continued, he would refuse to recognize the existence of God if the incumbent President wins the upcoming general election on December 7.
He further elaborated that the reforms that have seen the renovation of the license of 420 financial institutions in addition to the collapse of Menzgold in the last three years were deliberately triggered by the NPP government to collapse some financial institutions.
