Flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, has suspended his political campaign upon hearing news of the death of former president Jerry John Rawlings.

Mr. Mahama was in Obuasi as part of his six-day tour of the Ashanti Region when news broke that his party founder had passed Thursday morning at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.Jerry Rawlings
