Sudan secured all three points to delay AFCON 2021 qualification slot for Ghana on Tuesday.
Mohammed Rahman scored 90th minute goal against the Black Stars to give the ‘Falcons of Jediane’ a chance in the qualifying series.
It is the first time Ghana tasted defeat since the 2021 Afcon qualifiers began.
Ghana is now tied with South Africa on nine points while Sudan has seven. All three teams in the group except Sao Tome, could qualify for the continental showdown next year.
The Ghanaians went into the game without skipper Andre Ayew who is injured as well as regular goalkeeper Richard Ofori who is suspended for picking two yellow cards from previous games.
