The National Insurance Commission (NIC), has released the list of 130 insurance entities in good standing as at October 31, 2020.
The list comprises of 17 Life Insurance Companies, 23 Non-Life Insurance Companies, three Reinsurance Companies and 87 Insurance Brokers and Loss Adjusters.
In a publication on its website, the regulatory and supervisory body of the insurance services sector with a broad consumer and prudential mandate under Insurance Act 2006 (Act 724), advised the public to be wary of dubious organisations claiming to be engaged in the businesses of insurance.
