At least six supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are reported dead after they crashed at Franse, in the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipality of the Ashanti Region on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
They dead, together with several others who sustained serious injuries, were said to be traveling to Ejura to meet the party’s flagbearer, John Mahama who’s on a campaign tour of the region.
According to Angel FM Reporter, Bismark Mensah, the accident happened when the truck-load of supporters was crossed by a motorcycle resulting in the driver losing control of the truck.
The deceased have been conveyed to the Ejura Government Hospital Morgue while the badly injured are receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, the Flagbearer took time off to visit the survivors at the hospital.
