The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has described the President, Nana Akufo-Addo as a ‘nation wrecker’ and someone interested in developing the welfare of his family and friends other than the nation.
“Whilst Mahama is a man of vision and a nation builder who cares about the development of the nation, President Akufo Addo is a family builder and a nation wrecker”, he said on Angel FM’s ‘Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ’ Morning Show on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, President Akufo-Addo has had enough money at his disposal to better the economy but has still proven beyond doubt that he is a ‘family builder and a nation wrecker.’
“All the big positions are being occupied by his family and friends, a situation we are currently facing as a country and this is bad”, he added.
He stressed that despite assurances to fight corruption by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government during their 2016 campaign, the party have failed to make this vision materialize.
“Martin Amidu’s resignation over interference from the government, the Auditor General- Daniel Yaw Domelevo’s sudden suspension and many more are classical examples that have characterized the Akufo Addo-led government as corrupt government opposing corruption fighters”, the Lawyer indicated.
