A supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) sustained injuries when they clashed with the police during a protest over the results of the 2020 Elections.
The unnamed supporter reportedly sustained the injuries after the police sprinkled hot water to disperse the charged crowd at the demonstration.
This was after the demonstrators reportedly attacked a Police vehicle and also burnt used car tyres to register their protest at news that the police had arrested two of the demonstrators.
The Manhyia Police command has refused the claims of the demonstrators.
The unnamed demonstrator is however receiving treatment at the Manhyia Government hospital.
