The Head of the Local Government Service, Ing. Dr. Nana Ato Arthur has donated three HP branded laptops, two HP desktop computers along with their accessories to the North Tongu District Assembly at Battor in the Volta Region.

In a brief ceremony to hand over the items, Ing. Dr. Arthur explained that, the items were to enable the Assembly effectively conduct its work to ensure improved service delivery.

He reiterated the Local Government’s preparedness to strengthen the capacity of the Assembly in the execution of its mandate.

The donation exercise is in fulfilment of a promise made by the Head of Service when he visited the Assembly two months ago to commiserate with members of staff who had been assaulted during an attack by the Western Togoland group.North Tongu computers

They also broke into some offices and made away with some property including computers and accessories, a vehicle and some official documents among others.
