At least persons have been confirmed dead in an accident that involved two VIP Buses at Bunso Junction on the Accra-Kumasi Highway in the Eastern Region.
Several passengers also sustained serious degrees of injuries in the Accident which involved the buses which were traveling from Accra to Kumasi and Vice Versa.
Eastern Regional Correspondent, Francis Armah reported on Angel 102.9FM’s Morning Show that the accident occurred around 1:30am on Friday Morning.
The buses collided head on when the two drivers tried to overtake a trailer on the road.
According to eye witnesses, the injured had been taken to hospital.
