The matchday 14 outstanding game between Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season came off this Sunday, February 28, 2021.

Kotoko were looking forward to come back to winning ways after they exited from the CAF Confederations Cup as Hearts were aiming to record three straight wins.

Just two minutes into the game Kotoko failed to take the lead after Kwame Opoku missed from the spot after he was brought down in the box by Nuru Sulley. The first half ended goalless as both teams couldn’t find the back of the net.

Again in the second half, the two giants failed to break the deadlock as they continued to miss glorious opportunities.

Razak Abalora saved his team when Hearts got the chance to score the opener from the spot but substitute Issac Mensah blew it after he was brought down in the penalty box.

Kotoko forward Kwame Opoku failed to redeem his image after the talisman last minute long range shot hits the cross bar.
