Asante Kotoko and Black Satellites goalkeeper, Ibrahim Danlad has indicated that been part of Team Kotoko has offered him great opportunities in his career.

The 18 – year old goalie is expected to fight for a position at Kotoko or be loaned after the club have at their disposal Razak Abalora, Felix Annan and Kwame Baah who have all kept the post for the Porcupine Warriors this season.

Following his excellent performance at the just ended 2021 U-20 AFCON competition, the former U-17 goalkeeper won the golden glove award with four clean sheets conceding only three goals.

According to him, “Even though it is important to be in the post for the Asante Kotoko, but the chances and opportunities I get because of the name of this club is wonderful”.

This comes to play after the shot stopper got the call up to represent Ghana’s U – 20 at the African Cup of Nations tournament hosted by Mauritania.

“I believe that anytime you get the slight chance just grab it well and make good use of it to prove others wrong”, he reiterated.

He is looking forward to get his maiden Black Stars call up after putting up a great display at the just ended U – 20 Afcon championship.
