Capital O2’s leading herbal product, Living Bitters Capsules has been declared by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) as wholesome.
The statement is a reaction to a widely circulated video on social which alleged that the product has been adulterated and hence anyone who consumes it would have adverse side effects.
The video prompted the FDA’s Market Surveillance Team to initiate an investigation to establish the truth or otherwise of the claims.
“The team amongst others, sampled two (2) batches (batch numbers 251120 and 261120) of the product from the open market and two other batches (batch numbers 201120 and 150221) produced in the year 2020 and 2021 from the manufacturing site of Capital O2 for quality analysis at the FDA’s ISO17025 (2017) accredited laboratory,” the FDA said.
The FDA further concluded that the results showed the product had not been adulterated in any way.
