The former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyapong is still on suspension, General Secretary of the party, John Boadu has said.
Speaking on Angel 102.9FM’s Morning Show, Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ on Tuesday, John Boadu said the indefinite suspension is still in force and has not been revoked.
Former Chairman of the party, Paul Afoko and former Vice Chairman, Sammy Crabbe, he said are also still on suspension as well.
There were rumours that the suspension of Kwabena Agyapong particularly had been lifted because of the active role he performed in the NPP campaign towards victory in the 2020 elections.
The engineer was assigned to the Presidency and appeared on several platforms with the President to the admiration of several party folks.
“Since he has not done anything untoward since his suspension, I will recommend that his suspension should be lifted…,” he said.
