Her dismissal takes immediate effect according to a letter dated Tuesday, May 18, 2021 and signed by the Minister.

Prior to the termination of her appointment, the Coordinator’s office was subjected to a special audit by a team of auditors from the Ministry and Internal Audit Agency (IAA), for the academic period spanning from 2017 to 2020.

The areas of the audit included Caterer enrolment, Beneficiary Schools and their Enrolment, Caterer Payment, Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables, Human Resources and Procurement.

The audit followed reports of caterers who complained about the School Feeding Programme Management’s non-payment of arrears owed them, to which the Public Relations Officer of the management, Asiiba Alfa, issued a communique indicating that the office is engaging appropriate authorities on.
