Board Chairman of Division 1 side Bofoakwa Tano, Yaw Boateng Gyan has sent caution to the football governing body in Ghana about happenings in Zone 1. Yaw Boating Gyan was speaking on the tension in the zone which has resulted in bringing the name of the game into disrepute.
According to the outspoken club administrator, it is believed that some powers that be are fighting hard to ensure Real Tamale United return to the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking on “Is there not a cause of this happenings in Zone one? If you send a referee on a mission to help one club what do you expect from the fans. Don’t make us believe the rumor going round that Vice President is using his powers to get RTU back in the league”.
Tano Bofoakwa are top of the Division 1 table with 58 points after 27 games.
