Man, 28, stabbed to death over GHs4

Reports reaching angelonline.com.gh is that a 28-year-old cloth dealer, Michael Addie aka King Eliot has been stabbed to death by his friend at Seikwa in the Tain District of the Bono Region.

According to reports, his friend, Yaw Painter stabbed him during a confrontation over a GHs 4.00 debt which the suspect who is on the run owes him.

An eyewitnesses claimed that the deceased sold something to the suspect who is on the run but he refused to pay the debt.

And when the deceased attempted to collect the money on Sunday, 25th July, 2021, the suspect refused to pay leading to a confrontation. The suspect is said to have stabbed the deceased on the neck with a knife during the confrontation.

King Eliot was pronounced dead on arrival at the Seikwa Health Center.

Yaw Painter has since bolted from the Seikwa town after the incident.

A friend who is believed to have aided his flight from the town has however been arreted by the Seikwa Police for assisting him to flee.
