A man believed to be in his late 30s, has allegedly butchered his wife to death at Assin Gyinawobode3 Koforidua in the Assin South District of the Central Region.
The man identified only as Kwabenea after killing the wife, also attempted suicide by cutting his throat. He however did not succeed and is currently battling for his life.
The deceased, Abena has two children between the ages of 4 and 2 with the suspect.
The cause of the incident is not yet known.
