According to him when madness begins, it is a gradual process and not all mental health challenges can be termed madness because sometimes there’s depression that can lead to abnormal behavior.

He was of the view that the unfortunate killings would cease should the nation prioritize mental health issues since there could be a relation between the two.

Beyond this, the security expert cited stress and over thinking among others as contributory factors to mental instability.

He suggested that since mental health is significant in our daily lives, the public should assess their mental state periodically.

Mr. Ibrahim is urging corporate entities in Ghana to support in the fight to reduce mental health challenges.

“I think we need to rethink how we see mental health in Ghana”, he concluded.
