Purchases for light crop cocoa season closes Friday – COCOBOD announces

The Chief Executive of Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) has announced that purchases for the Light Crop Cocoa Season will be halted on Friday.

In a communique issued on September 2, 2021 with regards to the purchases, COCOBOD noted that though it will be halted on Friday September 3, 2021, returns on the purchases will continue to be open until the 9th of the same month at 4:00 pm.

CLOSURE OF THE 2021 LIGHT CROP COCOA SEASON

It is hereby notified for the general information that purchases for the 2021 Light Crop Cocoa Season will cease at close of business on FRIDAY, 3RD SEPTEMBER 2021.

In order to assist the Licensed Buying Companies (LBCs) to obtain the final returns from up-country, Ghana Cocoa Board has decided that returns on the declared purchases will be accepted up to 4:00 p.m. on THURSDAY, 9TH SEPTEMBER 2021.
