Pentecostal Council commiserates with vice president

The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) is sympathizing with the Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, at the passing away of his mother.

The late Hadjia Mariama Bawumia died on Monday, September 13, 2021.

The Council, in a press statement said that they were shocked at the news and further “conveyed our deepest condolences to the Vice President, the children, the family and the New Patriotic Party”.

The General Secretary of the GPCC, Reverend Emmanuel Teimah Barrigah, added that the Vice President’s loss is not only to the Bawumia family but Ghana as a country.

“It is our prayer that the Lord will strengthen and comfort the bereaved family in this most difficult times”, the statement concluded.
