The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has confirmed that it’s rescheduled Physics and Business Management papers in the ongoing West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) are slated for October.

WAEC’s decision, aimed at ensuring fairness amongst candidates, follows intelligence received from the ground on the leakage of the papers.

The two suspended papers were initially scheduled to be administered on September 15, 2021 at 8:00am at various examinations centres across the country.

However in a communique signed by Head of Test Administration Division, George Ohene-Mantey, the council said the “Physics paper 1&2 will be written on Friday, October 1, at 8:30 AM whiles Business Management paper 1&2 will be administered on Thursday, October 7, at 1:00 PM.”

All heads of schools across the country have in effect been urged to observe the new dates and channel the information to their candidates respectively.

This year’s WASSCE for school candidates started on August 16, at 763 centres nationwide.

Meanwhile, Mathematics (Elective), French, Financial Accounting, Biology, Graphic Design, and English language are papers that have been so far written.
