The New Patriotic Party government has finally released President Akufo-Addo’s choice of nominees for the various metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies across the country.
The announcement was made by the minister for Local Government, Dan Botwe with the support of the Information Ministry at the minister’s press briefing on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
At the briefing, Dan Botwe noted that, the list has been forwarded to the various regional ministers and are expected to contact the Electoral Commission to commence processes for assembly elections on the various nominees.
