Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Goldstar Air has donated a sum of Thirty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢30,000.00) to the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) on September 23, 2021 at its premises.

Mr. Eric Bannerman’s donation was geared towards supporting the upcoming UNWTO United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) World Tourism Day Celebrations, to be held at Hohoe in the Volta Region.

The purpose of the donation, he explained, was to support the ministry in relation to the event to augment the Ministry’s effort in supporting the growth of the Tourism sector for National development.

Receiving the items, the Deputy Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku-Mantey, thanked the Goldstar Air team for their kind gesture towards the development of the tourism sector.

The Chief Director of the Ministry, John Yao Agbeko, Mr. George Harrison Kankam, and other staff members were present to witness the presentation.

The items donated included 400 branded event T-shirts and 1000 pieces of Face shields.

Goldstar Air is a tourism-related organization working towards promoting the airline and tourism industry.
