The newly elected PM who doubles as Assembly Member for the Odumase-South Electoral area, was on Monday, September 27, 2021 sworn in after polling 40 votes out of 47 cast by the august house.

His swearing in was done by Mr. Frank Gbeddy, Judge of the Odumase-Krobo Circuit Court

Speaking however to journalist after his election, Mr. Zando expressed his appreciation to his fellow colleagues for the trust reposed in him.

“When the EC official called for people who are interested to come and picks form, if you were here you could see the way people rushed going in for the nomination form. And more than five people went in for the nomination forms but everybody who went in for the nomination form nominated me

Mr. Ayeh Zando added that the gesture exhibited by other members of the assembly justifies how unifying the house is, and anticipate giving their all in all to make the municipality develop.
