The Western Regional Minister, Kobby Okyere Daako-Mensah has threatened to terminate the contracts of non-performing contractors in the region.

Addressing New Patiotic Party (NPP) party delegates in Prestea during the party’s regional delegates conference, the Minister said he has been forced to arrive at this conclusion because of the shoddy works which are done by some contractors in the region.

“Any contractor who doesn’t perform his duty well will have his contract terminated this year…,” he warned.

Mr. Kwabena Darko reiterated that the people of Western Region are at the heart of President Akufo-Addo led NPP administrations, hence will continue to do more for them.

“We are lucky to have a President and his Vice that anything Western Region has asked for has been delivered accordingly, because there is no road that has not been awarded to contract.

“The government of the NPP is performing in Western Region and we will continue to perform and do more for the people of the region,” the minister added.

The Minister also took the opportunity to thank all districts and municipalities for their support to endorse President Akufo-Addo’s MMDCEs nominee for the various assemblies.
