Former black stars and Hearts of Oak winger, Charles Asampong Taylor, has urged Ghana’s sole representative at the CAF inter Club competition, Accra Hearts of Oak to go all out against Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco.

The Ghana Premier League champions will travel to Morocco to play WAC in the second leg game of the CAF Champions League on Sunday, October 24, 2021 in Casablanca.

Hearts of Oak beat WAC 1-0 in the first leg over the weekend at the Accra Sports Stadium thanks to youngster Isaac Mensah’s 40th minutes strike.

Speaking to Angel FM floodlight sports, Charles Taylor said he is optimistic that his former side can qualify to the group stage of CAF Champions League and hence advised them to have the ‘can do spirit’ against their North African opponents.

“Heart of Oak have players that they can deliver, so I will not be surprise they will go to Morocco to get a good result and qualify.

“They should have in mind that, they’re going there as Ghana to represent the entire country so am encouraging the players to go Al out and deliver because I know they can achieve that feet” he told host Kofi Jerry.

The legend then asked the players to forgo the notion that North African teams are hard to beat at their own background, and noted that with a critical look at what transpires in the first leg, the Moroccans are beatable in their home soil.

He further urged the players not to leave any stone unturned and to also avoid conceding a goal in the first opening fifteenth and twenty minutes.

With the slim advantage, a draw will see Accra Hearts of Oak qualify for the group stage of the competition for the first time since 2006.
