It followed the arrest of pastor Stephen Akwasi Appiah who prophesied that Shatta Wale would be shot dead on October 18, 2021, same day South African reggae act, Lucky Dube was murdered 14 years ago.

The police later picked up two persons -Kojo Owusu Koranteng, also known as Nana Dope and Eric Venator, alias Gangee, who are lose associates of Shatta Wale.

“No one will be spared if Police investigations point to their possible criminal culpability in this matter,” the police said in a statement.
