The Prampram Divisional Police have commenced investigations into a shooting
incident that led to the death of one Nene Aryeh Otusekrom, believed to be a chief, at a shrine at Prampram this morning, Tuesday, October 26.
Two other individuals, Tawiah Nyumu and Nene Tettey Kwadzo, were injured in the process.
Preliminary investigation shows that the heads of some families in Prampram have
gone to Lalue Shrine at Prampram when they were attacked by unknown gunmen
resulting to the casualty and injuries.
The body of the deceased has been sent to the Tema General Hospital for preservation
and autopsy while the injured are receiving medical attention at the same hospital,
after the Tema Regional Police Crime Scene Management team had examined the
scene for evidence materials that will aid in the investigation.
Two suspects have since been detained at the Devtraco Police Station and are
assisting the investigation.
