The special operations team of the Police Service have gun down two alleged armed robbers who broke into a criminal cell in the Savannah and Bono East regions
The leader of the gang sustained gunshot wounds during the operation which saw the robbers and the police exchange gun fire. He is under currently on admission at the hospital under Police guard.
A report by the Ghana Police Service said the gang has been operating in the two regions and are responsible for series of murders in the area.
