Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I am a young lady of 22 years with a passion for business. My interest grows the more I am exposed to new areas in the business world. I have ventured into the office work, real estate, restaurant, graphics design, supply etc.

Change is the only constant thing, hence the need for it, and I must admit, it has not been easy. You need courage and strength to be able to cause change.

Starting a business is quite scary, if you ask me; the probabilities, uncertainties, and the risks one has to take are quite enormous but being adventurous granted me the space to take risks including going bankrupt, taking a loan and many more.

The question then is, are you also ready to take risks and make sacrifices because that is what it is like?

Today there are a lot of successful entrepreneurs enjoying the fruit of their labour with good reputation and expansion to show for it. Till date, they take risks to ensure continuous success. Example is business interruption risk; Natural disasters, accidents like during the Covid-19. A lot of businesses went out of market, but some compromised considering the competition and reputation. Risk taking never ceases.

So, how is it like? It is very fulfilling and exciting to know that one has started something, and somehow it gives the individual a sense of control and power, especially when you recall the days when it seemed so difficult because of the sacrifices, risks, losses and every other challenge associated with entrepreneurship.

I can attest to the fact that I reached the point in the struggle where giving up was the only option, and the best action to take; I doubted the process, questioned what it all was for and why I was risking so much and losing more.

But determination and confidence did it for me, keeping me going against all odds with hope that it will turn out good.

Is it all worth it? To be an entrepreneur? Of course, it is! It helps one attain independence

Are you too ready?
