The Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng has written to the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) nominee for Juaben in the Ashanti Region to appear before him over his leaked bribery video.
The Ashanti Regional Police on 1st November, 2021, arrested the MCE nominee for Juaben in the Ashanti Region to assist Police investigations.
Mr Alex Safo Kantanka was arrested following a viral video in which he was seen bribing Assembly members to approve his nomination as MCE for the area.
In the viral video, Mr Kantanka was seen arguing with some Assembly members and demanding that his money be returned to him.
The Special Prosecutor after sighting the video has called on him to appear before the office and respond to the bribery video.
