RTP Awards: Angel FM’s Anopa Bofoɔ show adjudged Morning Programme of the Year

RTP Awards: ABN’s Bronzy wins Media CEO of the Year

Accra-based Angel FM’s Anopa Bofoɔ morning show has been named Radio Morning Programme of the Year at the latest Radio and Television Program (RTP) awards.

The awards ceremony organized by Big Events Ghana in Accra on November 6, 2021, saw the likes of Peace FM’s Kokrokoo, Starr FM’s Morning Starr, Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz and Citi FM’s Citi breakfast show featuring competitively in the category.

Others in the category which all the Anopa Bofoɔ show outdid to be the best in the year were Joy FM’s Super Morning show, Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia and Adom FM’s Dwaso

The Anopa Bofoɔ morning programme, hosted by Kofi Adomaa Nwanwani, airs weekly from 6:00am to 10:00am on Monday through to Friday.

It features on its panel Kwamena Sam Biney, Nana Yaa Brefo and Yaa Kyira with Jerry Tsatro Mordy and Frank Kweku Nti being producer and assistant respectively.

It covers wide rage of issues which are human centered from politics, to social, business, health, education, sports and even entertainment.

Meanwhile Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) which is the mother body with over 20 stations including two television stations and 19 radio stations spread across the regions of the country, has seen it’s staff winning in different categories.

Its Chief Executive Officer, Samuel Kofi Acheampong, won the Media CEO category, while Quophi Okyeame was adjudged the Radio Personality of the Year.

Also, DJ Slim picked Radio DJ of the year whilst Afia Panamang was named the TV Discovery of the year for Angel TV.

Not to say the least, Angel FM, Kumasi-based radio station under ABN also was awarded the Best Radio Station in the Ashanti Region.
