2022 WCQ: Milovan names starting 11 for Ethiopia game

Ghana’s head coach, Milovan Rajevac, has announced his Black Stars starting line-up for their game against Ethopia in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Milovan has made four changes to his squad that beat Zimbabwe in the last game coming into the all-important fixture against the Wailia ibex of Ethiopia at the Olando Stadium in South Africa.

At the heart of defence, Andy Yiadom and Joseph Aidoo earned a starting berth to replace injured Jonathan Mensah and Alexander Djiku who started the game on the bench.

In the midfield, skipper Andre Ayew who could not start the last game will today replace Arsenal’s midfielder, Thomas Partey who misses the game due to injury.

Richmond Boakye Yiadom will be leading the attack to partner Jordan Ayew at the absence of Benard Tetteh who started the Zimbabwean game.

The game has been scheduled to kick off at 13:00GMT at the Orlando Stadium.
