Headteacher of Sekyikrom D/A school in Denkyembour District in the Eastern Region has met his untimely death in a motor crash.
The incident reportedly happened in the late evening of Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
The deceased identified as Mr. Ayabeng onboard a Toyota Corolla vehicle with registration number GB 5622-12 from Boadua, was heading towards Akyem Topremang when he had a head-on collision with another vehicle with the registration number GM 520-19.
The suspect driver, Twum Barima who has been identified as a popular gold dealer, was alleged to have been speeding while negotiating a curve, which resulted in the crash.
The headteacher, according to eyewitnesses, died on the spot.
Body of the deceased has since been deposited at the St. Dominic Hospital Morgue for autopsy and preservation.
