Mr. Ernest Adofo revealed that much damage has been caused considering the trees they have seen felled; however, the commission is yet to ascertain the accurate measure of destruction caused to the forest.

He therefore cautioned illegal chainsaw operators to desist from their activities while appealing to all and sundry to help monitor the forest for the collective good of all.

“The forest belongs to all of us. It is what contributes to climate change reduction. Let us therefore protect it because it is our life”, he urged.
